I TIMOTHY 6:11-12

11 But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of eternal life to which you were called and about which you have made a good confession in the presence of many witnesses.


APPLICATION QUESTIONS

  1. In general, was there anything that stood out to you from the sermon or the reading of the text? Was there anything you were encouraged or confused by?

  2. In verse 11, Paul gives a list of things we are called to pursue. Which of those things do you lack in your own life?

  3. What does Paul mean when he says to fight the good fight of faith?

  4. Why is taking hold of eternal life important as we pursue righteousness and fight the fight of faith?
